C60 Sugar Balls (Glycofullerenes) inhibit viral infection. Therefore can C60OO be used to prevent and treat malaria by protecting blood cells from entering plasmodium parasites? What's your opinion?

What is the logic of generalizing from viruses to protozoans?

Them both infect cells. There was some thread about the ebola, that's why I'm generalizing.

You're also generalizing from an extremely hydrophobic c60 analog to an extremely lipophilic one.  Given this variance in a fundamental property of bioactive molecules, that's a lot of generalizing...

Not only that but from I have been able to gather the mechanism of C60 sugarball based prevention has to do with the glycoprotein 120 blocking by way of inhibiting DC-SIGN

I have outlined my research and REAL natural remedies in this thread Science of Ebola Thread: http://ctcantina.com...ad.php?tid=2654

DC-SIGN and DC-SIGNR bind ebola glycoproteins and enhance infection of macrophages and endothelial cells.
http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/12504546

Mannose-binding lectin binds to Ebola and Marburg envelope glycoproteins, resulting in blocking of virus interaction with DC-SIGN and complement-mediated virus neutralization.
http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/16099912

Please view my compiled & referenced research on the many ways you can prevent or destroy the Ebola virus and there are many, If you are familiar with the basics skip to page two and 3 they are quite impressive IMO:
