So i figured this is good for tendons, reducing inflammation and healing OA. (Not that I have OA) but my joints are just creaky and I am in my mid 20s!

Can anyone suggest supplements that are effective to heal tendons, reduce inflammation. I am sure something along the lines of.

~Curcumin

~Omega-3 (EPA/DHA)

~Serrapeptase (Wobenzym, Neprinol)

~Astaxanthin? (Not sure if this is effective)

It would be nice if theres powdered versions for all above...

thanks everyone

Look also at UC-II (undenatured collagen). For some strange, kind if cellophane-like noise in my knees (no pain) I have been using it (40mg) with some benefit.

Curcumin is poorly absorbed... curcuWin is the best form to date... see Relentless Improvement for details

does this apply to brain concentrations? I heard longvida was the best in that respect. any input would be well appreciated as I'm making an order soon and I want the formulation with the best CNS penetration.

edit: sorry for derailing

I experienced great effects with Ginger and Astaxanthin for reducing  inflammation and joint pain.

Ginger had less side effects because astaxanthin caused insomnia after some weeks.

well, medicineman... the claims of each are always subject to interpretation...as  comparable results require strict measurement of the same factors... which rarely happens... Pete discussed this in a recent blog.  One aspect is peak vs sustained levels... he points out other things too.  Bottom line... unclear but both are better.  It's worth a full read...

How can Pete claim that "CurcuWin's unique formulation inhibits formations of conjugates" when he cites a paper in which they broke apart conjugates before analysis?

The sample preparation was performed in accordance with Cuomo et al. [26]. A 0.2 mL aliquot of plasma was transferred to a clean microcentrifuge tube and next treated with 100 μ L of a solution containing 1000 U of β -Glucuronidase/sulfatase

....For reducing inflammation, I'm surprised no one mentioned Boswellia...

Thank you. How much it is considered enough to be effective? In a prostate health formula I am taking since many years: " ...

AprèsFlex® Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata) extract (gum resin) [providing 14 mg AKBA]

70 mg..."
