Medical and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in UK has seized a large number of nootropic supplies. See:

They're acting like these were scheduled narcotics or controlled substances. I don't think any of those listed are. Sad day.

This is why vendors should clearly state:

NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

If they were not being sold or promoted as medicines, I doubt this would have happened.

“The fact of the matter is that if you are acquiring medicines over the internet without a prescription then you are purchasing from an unknown,

unregulated and ultimately an unlawful source that has one objective – to take your money.”

What a pathetic bla bla. Repalce the term nootropic with herb extract and You get the same conclusion.

Herbs are neither controlled and the trust relies mostly on the manufacturers name e.g NOW or Jarrows.

Funny fact is that just 1-3 of 15 of the listed nootropics arent tested for human consumption,

but our shiny glorious leader Barbara Sahakian says that all of them arent approved.

Furthermore, its a nice news paper which doesnt allows to comment the article.

Thus to ensure that the communication goes just in one direction; top-down

So what does this mean ?

Is now every vendor in the UK gone for good ?
