I purchased a few hypnosis sessions, but the problem is I cannot get into a trance to make use of them. I know they work, the few times I managed to get into a trance I found they gave a good effect.

But most of the time I can't get into that trance state. Most of the time it feels like an endurance race rather then a relaxing experience. My body feels restless after some time and my mind is still too alert and gets distracted by the smallest things.

The tracks I have are the shortest ones I could find between 20-30minutes. I tried the 1 hour hours but that was to much of a pain to get relaxed. The trance inductions makes me feel more irrated and restless then relaxed.

I think the times I got into a easy trance were when I have been exhaused and tired. I've tried incense candles magnesium, 5-htp, ZMA.

Any techniques or supplements that could help me?

try binaural beats in delta range -- if your tapes don't already utilize them in the background
