If I take sodium chloride in close (say, <5 hr) proximity to inositol, it unerringly provokes diarrhea.  No such reaction if I don't take inositol.  The inositol dosage only has to be 100mg or more, and the salt around 200mg or more.

Does anyone know the action at work responsible for this effect?

Why? No.

If you totally dissolve the inositol in water, it should help, though.

I take 500mg. It works well for this N=1.

I already do dissolve it.
