THe brand I'm using is Swanson powder. https://www.swansonv...-227-grams-pwdr  I don't know exactly what type it is because the label only says the name.  The dose is 6g and I was going to take more than that for dealing with some anxiety, but I wanted to start casually and increase to that, so I started with 500mg, then 1g, then 1.5g, then 2g, 2.5g, 3g, 4g, 5g, etc, and then was at the full dose, and then I started doing it another serving.  That way I would do like 4.5g in the morning and 4.5 in the afternoon, etc. until I was doing 6g in the afternoon and at night.

I had been doing this for about a week and I started to feel a weird pain in my chest.  I didn't really add any other supplements during this time so I didn't know what it could be, and then I thought maybe it was this.  I stopeed and it kind o went away.  Then I started ack up again at 3g a day and it came back.  It doesn't really cause a lot of discomfort but it's noticeable, almost like an interesting grating.  The feeling is only on the left and it's a while after I take it.  It is like to the outside of my left chest.  It lasts for a few moments and then goes away, nd then will happen like that so it's not like all day long or whatever, but it happens when I use it.

Has this hpappened to anyone else?  When I searched I saw that it can mean an allergy.

From the Examine page:

Myo-inositol oral ingestion may reduce tumor formation in the lungs. While human evidence is very preliminary at this point in time, it suggests that the reduced risk of developing lung cancer does hold true

That's to say, it does have an effect on the lungs. Seemingly positive.

The sensation I get in my chest is sometimes along the edge of my chest like on the side of my body, and it can also be a pressure behind the nipple.  The feeling is only a few times a day, if that, and not every day.

Since taking 6-10g a day I have not noticed any variety in my OCD or anxiety.  The only thing I can think of is maybe it is making small changes and if I stop it will seem to be more obvious.
