Some c60-olive oil solutions are orange while others are purple.
The original solution made in "The prolongation of the lifespan of rats by repeated oral administration of [60]fullerene" was purple.
c60 dissolved in a variety of organic solvents (e.g. benzene) turns the solution orange
Why are these orange products orange?
The orange product from vaughter wellness claims to have 0.1mg/ml more c60 than both the other commercial purple product and the original solution in the study (0.9 mg/ml as opposed to 0.8 mg/ml), but i cant imagine this making up the difference in color.
Anybody know?
