Hi,

I started experimenting with nootropics just yesterday. I had one two-week attempt with noopept more than one year ago and felt nothing which is why I didn't follow up on nootropics for a while.

While looking around on Tim Ferriss' blog I found a link to a spreadsheet with an almost complete list of nootropics, their effects and sideeffects ( http://bit.ly/ezMpIa ). With renewed interested my goal was to create a 'safe' stack which would contribute to my health, alertness and memory with studies proving the effects and no severe common side-effects during long-term usage.

My first stack now consists of the following:

  • Vitamin C (consumed through lemon juice and oranges)
  • Green Tea (2 cups in the morning, 2 in the afternoon)
  • Turmeric (Tea of 2-3 g once or twice per week)
  • Vitamin B Complex (1 pill in the morning)
  • Flaxseed oil (1-2 Tbsp. in the morning on an empty stomach)
  • Ginseng Tonicum (1 pill in the morning)

I started yesterday night with a turmeric tea and chugged the rest this morning. After about an hour after ingestion I started feeling really awake, without drinking coffee for the first time in months. My mood was definitely elevated and still is. But atm, about 4,5 hrs after ingestion, the alertness seems to fade. I hope a coffee after lunch will lift things up again. The 4,5 hrs until now definitely payed off, I finished a task which I have been pushing around since 3 days.

My next addition to the stack will be:

  • L-Arginine
  • L-Lysine
  • L-methylfolate / Folic Acid

If you have any questions feel free to ask. If you feel I should add another compound I'd love to hear about it :)
