Hi!

Im just considering getting some good d3, however the actual IU amount vary a lot and there are a lot of additions.

Found this one: http://www.amazon.co...cm_sw_su_dp#Ask as it has 5.000IU which should be much but not too much (not tested my blood level yet) with K2 - as i heard they should be taken together. However are those amounts of K2 MK4 and K2 MK7 good for daily taking? I think it's better to take them both but what about quanities?

And what about that iodine? Should i take it at all?

Maybe you know something better?

Thanks a lot

That looks like a good supplement to me.  In other words, I'd have no qualms taking it myself.  I wouldn't take 5000 IUs daily for more than 3 months without getting your blood level tested.  I believe the proper test is the 25(OH)D.

For the vitamin K, both the forms and the amounts are good for taking daily.  I have seen it recommended to take 100mcg MK7 for every 1000 IU vitamin D.  So the amount of vitamin K in that supplement more than covers that, with some additional leeway and benefit.

100mcg of iodine is a small amount, and would only be beneficial.  Nothing to worry about there.

Another option is to get a separate D product and then do K and K2 independently with a product that provides them.

I initially felt I was having a positive response to D3 supplementation. I been trying 50-100ui of D3 daily past 5 days but I am noticing a very confusing effect occuring. After i took it today I became really confused during a card game I was playing and felt quite lost. Additionally I found myself irritable and lashing out in frustration when things didn't go my way.  It felt bit unusual.   It may seem like a modest dose but I am hypersensitive to virtually everything. My 50mg ui is likely your 250ui and what not.

Any advice on why this effect might be occurring?  I feel def bit out of it.  I may have to stop it all together or give it a break.   I am also taking valium, modafinil, L-arginine, Zinc.   I been having adrenal issues, possible liver problems (unconfirmed) etc.
