death is logically impossible, assuming our civilsation survives OR the cosmos is eternal - where you could never rule out resurrection by another intelligence.

 

Pain is unl;ikely to last if succeed at programming opurselves which is underway, and age is processes breaking down and illness - which is also beng tackled.

 

A leap may come with better A.I. - also being attempted.

 

On present trends we could achive life extension in 2020's (based on a.i.)
