All of these are rounded calorie measures per pound of given cooked food item, taken from cron-o-meter. This chart is useful when trying to choose foods to either gain weight or lose weight.

 

Vegetables:150

Fruit: 250

Potatoes: 450

Whole-grains: 550

Beans: 650

Eggs: 700

Meat: 850

Syrup: 1200

Dried-fruit: 1350

Flour: 1650

Popcorn: 1750   

Sugar: 1750

Cheese: 1850   

Nuts: 2600

Oil: 4000

I believe the calorie in vs. calorie out paradigm is outdated.
