Albeit, temporarily...
I've always been a non smoker, and on reading around about Nicotine, and how majority of smokers suffer depression, find it difficult to break from smoking since it does treat their symptoms. There is minimal negative health consequences from dosing Nicotine from sources other than smoking.
So i gave it a go, and interestingly, i get complete relief from depression for a full minute, that is, full appreciation for the environment, music, mood lift. and a nice afterglow. Redosing is optional, i don't crave another hit because the nicotine sublingual spray i use does not contain the addictive additions from smoking. I only crave it for its depression relieving effects, not so much for the high.
Research shows that MAOIs increase the addictiveness of nicotine. I currently use an MAO-A inhibitor, and it intensifies the nicotine depression relief.
I thought doing this combo would increase addiction. However, i get no withdrawal effects, even with chronic use. To prove this i used Nicotine for a full week, up to 10x sprays a day, 1 MG to 2MG each spray.
Full cessation resulted in no withdrawal. However i did not cease for a long enough period of time to determine if there would be downsides later.
Also, i gave the spray to a person who has smoked cigars and they noticed stronger effects from the sublingual spray.
Any other experiences?
