For a few days I was drinking mineral water that has lithium in it in lowish doses marketed by san pellegrino and gerolsteiner.  When I stopped, the next day I had a magnification in anxiety.  Was this because I stopped taking in lithium?

Probably not.  I doubt that a mineral water could have enough lithium to cause a withdrawal symptom after a few days.

Simple dehydration can cause anxiety if you're susceptible.

I wouldn't say withdrawal.. was most likely just a coincidence

San Pellegrino had an antidepressant effect for me.

I cant say why, but I really felt everytime better after that.

All I can say is, that my depression is not prone to placebo.
