I'd like to continue taking garlic because of all the great benefits, but if it lessens the effectiveness of other important supplements, I might have to do away with it.

Is it likely that garlic will interfere with some of these?

My supplements:

~ With the largest meal in the afternoon:

* Adam Superior Men's Multi Soft Gels (Now) http://www.nowfoods....80-Softgels.htm
* Echinacea, Astragalus and Reishi (Nature's Way)
* Turmeric Curcumin with Biopreine (Nutrivie)
* Perfect Food RAW [34 veggies] (Garden of Life)
* Fish Oil
* Ashwagandha
* CoQ10
* Diindolylmethane "Dim"

~ Misc meal:

* Green Tea Extract, EGCg (Now) "Take away from protein"

~ With high carb/sugar meals:

* True Cinnamon (Swanson)

~ Before bed:

* Melatonin [1mg] with Niacin, Vitamin B-6, and Magnesium Citrate (Now)

~ In the morning:

* Tras-Resveratrol with Pomegranate, Green Tea, Quercetin, Grape Seed Extract, Acai, and Enzymes. (BRI Nutrition)

~ Before workout:

* Creatine
* L-Carnitine

~ On empty stomach:

* Probiotic

+

* Beta-Alanine (forms carnosine)
* Creatine "With fast acting carbs (such as from juice) or protein. Increasing water intake is especially important."

+

* Nac-Acetyl Cysteine with Selenium and Molybdenum
* Acetyl L-Carnitine

~ Using until I run out:

* Diindolylmethane "Dim"
* l-Carnitine

Allicin interferes with acetyl-CoA, which is sort of important. So it would reduce the effectiveness of ALCAR.

Thank you!

Would it also interfere with Nac-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) for the same reasons?

Keep taking the coq10.  Garlic is a statin and will lower coq10 levels with prolonged use.

I don't think acetyl-CoA directly plays a role in the NAC to glutathione pathway, so probably not.
