I've been supplement 5000 IU per day for a while now, and this is what my test turned up as. I am wondering if this is too high?

The Life Extension Foundation gives (see: http://www.lef.org/P...sting/Page-04):

Reference Range: 30–100 ng/mL Optimal: 50–80 ng/mL

If it was me I would reduce it and try to target 30-40 ng/ml (75-100 nmol/l). I achieve this with roughly 1/2 of what you take (about 2000IU/d). It has been discussed here in many places, e.g. see: http://www.longecity...rillation-link/

Yes, too high.  You might want to balance it with vitamin K2 and perhaps a bit of Vitamin A.  Then aim for 40-50 ng/ml.
