Last month I ordered a 3 month supply of the "superfood" Green Vibrance.

This contains a lot of stuff like probiotics, vitamins, antioxidants etc. I was hoping this could help with my horrible immune system.

Now to the problem. I take 50mg's of Sertraline every day and I saw on the back now that Green Vibrance contains 20mg's of Gingko Biloba.

Reading online it says that these two can cause serotonin syndrome.

I am also dosing with Semax and sometimes Selank, Oxiracetam and Aniracetam (which all can increase serotonin as well?) so I'm wondering

if I should stay away from taking the Green Vibrance.

Thoughts?

Ginkgo Biloba has minimal (if any) effects on Serotonin (http://examine.com/s.../Ginkgo biloba/).  Besides, 20 mg is a VERY low dose of ginkgo.  I have to take 120 mg before I feel anything (and that's with the EGB-761 extract...which isn't being used in Green Vibrance).

Hi

Can anyone confirm that its ok to take an SSRI (Fluoxetine) and Gingko combo?

As obviously it suggests it could cause serotonin syndrome, but the poster above seems to think this is very unlikely to happen due to its "minimal effects on serotonin".

Can anyone confirm the combo taken together is safe?
