Hi Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I completely destroyed my health with drugs over 7 years, culminating in serotonin syndrome and bipolar-like symptoms. As of late 2012 I became drug-free, but I keep revisiting serotonin toxicity and my mood is still not stable. I can't use any treatment that involves GABA because I overdid that too. I currently only take Seroquel 600mg + 30g BCAAs per day, but it's not enough.

Are there any ways you can think of to help my brain heal faster?

I read about BDNF and wonder, will making new neurons cure me or make me even more sensitive to high levels of neurotransmitters? For example, if my brain grows new serotonergic neurons, will that increase or decrease my propensity for serotonin toxicity?

Likewise with dopamine - I get stressed and irritable with increased levels. Would that change with renewed neurons?

When I wait a long time, I do slowly get better, but I would love to be able to give my body the tools it needs to heal and de-stress.

Thanks for any insight, I'm serious about getting better, so I plan to study a 'bachelor of health science' this year to help me understand my body. I really appreciate any help you can give me.
