I've experienced the mood lifts with L-Taurine and Phenylalanine which I usually use on an empty stomach. But not crazy about the mood let down for lack of a better description I feel a few hours after taking either. I understand also that one should supplement with L-Tyrosine if you're including 5-HTP on a daily basis.

Phenylalanine I'm going to try on a daily basis for a few weeks as part of a custom CILTEP stack. Not quite sure about dosage yet as 500mg seems like a lot every day.

As for L-Tryptophan, I'm planning on adding it as a semi regular sleep aid. I've read that it shouldn't be taken on a daily basis over the long term

Does anyone include any of these amino acids as partof their daily supplement regimen, either alone or in combination? What has been your experience?

From what little I know I don't think any of them should be taken long term over an extended period. Comments?
