Hello

Id like to know where the products of Life Extension (www.lef.org) are manufactured. I am a little suspicious, because it is produced FOR LEF (USA), but there is no other information (packaging / website). Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

Most supplements, peptides, hormones, are made in china. I'm frankly floored there don't seem to be USA peptide producers (just front companies for china it seems

I had this thought as well. If this should be true, I will avoid these products in the future, because I think many food products made in china are contaminated. I did a little research and even products with "made in germany" or "made in the netherlands" are very suspicious. No real adresses, just post office boxes, no plants... I guess they just import it, label it and call it "made in europe". And then charge 25€ per box.

They are made "for LEF" beacause the supplements are produced and sold by "LifeExtension Buyers Club", which doesn't hold the not-for-profit status of the foundation (which is little surprising if you look at all the blatant advertisement on their website or in their magazine. The foundation is just a marketing figleaf, hardly obscuring the fact that above all they are a profit-ortiented company selling supplements). The supplements are manufactured in Fort Lauderdale, FL, but this doesn't say anything about the source of the raw materials. Quality control procedures are what really matters, not the place where the pills are put into the bottle. So far the LEF has an excellent track record in that regard. They adhere to GMP, EFS and employ, according to their own information, extensive batch testing and some of their products are regularly tested by ConsumerLab.

See also this recent LPI blog article on how to make sure to get quality supplements.
