Anybody try the PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) from True Life Research as an antidepressant? i've been getting seemingly good results thus far from CBD, and i was interested in other endocannabinoid compounds.

thanks,

I'd proceed with caution with TLR, at present there have been accusations of "some" of their products not being what they're claimed to be. With the owner evading and blatantly ignoring answering directly to those accusations. If you'd like to see that conversation then I'll post a link if you like.

in that case, anyone ever try this compound at all, and if so, did it work and what is a reliable source for it?

A supplier is selling N-palmitoylethanolamide(PEA) as an analgesic//anti-inflammatory/anti-convulsant. While I think those can relieve depression, I don't know too much about the product.

Nicklesprout, is it actually an endocannabinoid?

I've been using PEA from PEA Cure for a while now and I have to say that I love it. Mind you, I use it for pain, not depression, but from what I've read, it is pretty effective against depression as well.

Here's a study
https://www.ncbi.nlm...pubmed/23844686

The last sentence of the abstract says this: "For the first time we demonstrated that PEA+luteolin compound exerts a significant antidepressant effect a low dose and may be considered as a novel therapeutic strategy in depression."

Anyway, if it is anywhere near to what it does with pain, it rocks.

PEA is the SHIZIT. You can't spell PEAce without: PalmitoylEthanolAmide-cures-everything!
