I think we're mostly brain washed to pop an aspirin or ibuprofen the moment we get a headache, but if you experience a headache while taking certain 'brain' supplements, is this always a good idea?

What are some combinations to definitely avoid?

For instance when taking racetams, getting a headache is a common experience and I assume due to choline depletion. Should you avoid taking any ibuprofen or aspirin in this case?

You'd just be masking the symptom rather than getting to the root cause (choline depletion). Since it has an obvious remedy (choline administration), why take the risk of damaging the lining of your stomach. Something like CDP-choline has positive nootropic effects of its own, so you're much better off tweaking your stack to eliminate the headache than trying to mask it.

Thanks. Was also wondering about the blood thinning properties of common aspirin. I assume many herbs also have this effect and are best not used at the same time...or is it merely a question of dosage levels?
