I'm trying to build an itinerary of drugs I'm going to experiment with to improve cognitive function caused by HPA axis dysregulation (from GABA downregulation) and cortisol induced brain damage.

My aim is to improve executive function and cerebral cortex function.  This is because I am unable to think at all about anything, just a completely blank mind, I can't hold a line of thought in my mind or even for that matter day dream or reflect on matters. This makes being able to do even very basic things which involves processing, learning, problem solving, analysing and applying any knowledge to a particular situation, nigh on impossible.

I have tried to work around it by (Exercise, Meditation, Good Sleep etc) but it doesn't help very much, It's helping me cope a bit better but what remains is still an absurdly low quality of life, due to an inability to develop oneself, socialise, work or even process films, tv series etc; which leads to depression and finding bad habits to give me some sense of reward. I've been just existing like this for 4-5 years and things need to change, it's as simple as that. So just to reiterate, my intention is try and improve B function before I try and correct HPA issues.

Drug choices:

- P21

- Tianeptine Sulfate

- Ceretropic

- N-acetyl Semax

- NSI-189

- Noopept

If there are any nootropics/drugs I'm missing which could help my situation, please let me know. Thanks for reading, stay classy!

I have the problem as you do, inability to process information, blank mind, and anhedonia. It makes life absolutely miserable. Like yourself I've been on a quest to assemble an arsenal of nootropics To heal my brain. I've tried plenty of nootropics including semax. Id say don't waste your time on it. It's great while you're on it but it doesn't contribute to long term improvement, at least not in my case. I'd take it, feel its affects and then they'd be gone in a matter of hours. Besides semax, all of the nootropics you listed should help with long term improvement.

look into Ashwaghanda and j147. I'm currently on ashwaghanda and it's great for reducing cortisol and it supposedly improves memory with long term use. J147 I've not tried but when it's available (which should be in a couple weeks by teamtlr.com) I'll definitely try it. It's practically an enhanced version of curcumin with an chemical compound attached to it. It's supposed to improve long term and short term memory through ngf and bdnf expression. They say it can reverse cognitive decline such as mild Alzheimer's, so its a potent drug for brain damage.

Ok, thanks for the insight. I'll put it towards the back of the pile then. I've got some ashwagandha somewhere in my supplement stock room... might dig it out again.

Thanks for the heads up on J147, it looks like a very interesting compound from the studies. Let me know how things go with your experimentation.  :)

I'm also trying to heal my mild cognitive impairment induced by Accutane. I haven't done enough research yet, but I'm currenty taking Liftmode's noopept 20 - 30mg a day sublingually. I've also heard good things about bacognize so I'm going to use swanson's bacognize every night. CDP choline/Alpha GPC has also helped me as well. I'm still researching about Uridine and Lion's Mane. For ashwagandha, make sure it's KSM-66.

Why does noopept have long term repair properties?

NSI-189 will blow them all out of the water. just watch out for weight gain and focus on improving your life while taking nsi...no drugs or alcohol. An alcohol BAC of .08 has actually been to show reduce hippocampal neurogenisis. One could only imagine what twice that would do.. Cheers
