Tried many sleep meds they are all extremely flawed. If anyone can think of suggestions that I have not considered I will be grateful.

The only meds that consistently work for me are:
Lyrica
Xyrem

I have been on clonazepam which stopped working.

Seroquel trazadone don't work unless the dose is really high.

I am thinking about trying cesamet but I have a feeling it may not do the job alone though it could have a better side effect profile than others i mentioned.

Anyhow I need ideas for sleep.

I tried cesamet (nabilone) cannibinoid drug. I felt stoned for 2 days and after effects for longer, and I hate weed. It was sedating I mostly slept those days away but that was my last great idea for sleep meds.

I am going to continue clonazepam due to desparation, I can't stay on it long term due to tolerance, but nothing works besides benzos, seroquel and lyrica. The latter two I will not touch because I lose most of my mental capacity from those drugs.

Is there any argument for short acting benzos like lorazepam over clonazepam in order to avoid tolerance?

What about barbituates? do they cause tolerance more quickly than benzos, I do not really care that they are more lethal because I am not trying to kill myself lol.

Or any other ideas would be helpful cause my ideas are all bad...
