I really need your help guys as I am going through a very rough time.

Through my hard time finding a way to get better , the answers I got when I asked for ADHD meds options in Japan here were very informative and very helpful!!! Perhaps I will become a sponsor here one day as I believe this forum is magic.

 http://www.longecity...st-alternative/

Well out of all that I tried here including some; Modafinil , Pemoline (Betanamin) is the only one pill that helped me get my shit together and get shit done however it also messed with my personality and made me ultra aggressive and I didn't realize this because it happened too suddenly (2-3 days).

People around me obviously picked up on it but I didn't realize until later on .

This is definitely no good as a part of my work is in sales & I really need patience with people which I had down before the Pemoline  had me getting into heated situations  with coworkers and family members and all else around me.

I know I should be on Adderall as it mellows me out and gives me a normal organic energy boost , but I wasn't so lucky to be an American with ADHD .

Can the guys that know anything about these stimulant meds such as Ritalin or Adderall that cause similar anger/anxiety symptoms please help me find a strong med or two that will chill me out while I'm on this drug Pemoline without messing up the effects.

I am willing to try anything such as SSRI (I've reacted well to Fluoxetine in the past) but I may need more such as a mood stabilizer that wont make me drowsy.

 Any other recommendations are welcome.

Big  Thanks !!!!

You're lucky pemoline is still available in Japan, hard to believe. People have been looking for it here in the U.S. for recreational reasons. LOL. The drug is discontinued here. Are you mixing pemoline with modafinil?

I would change jobs. I couldn't work in sales because I just couldn't deal with people like that, especially if you were on these types of drugs. I don't think anyone with ADHD is meant to deal with the public. You should go work somewhere that requires no human interaction. A truck driver over the road cross country might work. Get into lab work rather than be a nurse, which will let you deal with less people. Work some place that fits your personality. If you can't work with people and vice versa, work a job that requires little human interaction.

Good point about my occupation but I'm not always face to face as I sell mainly online , there is very little interaction involved but even then everything has to be so perfect in Japan.

Pemoline IMO is no where near as good as Adderall or Ritalin though ...what dosage is a recreational dose for Pemoline if you remember?

I never tried Pemoline but from what I understand there is serious side effects as well which is why it was discontinued. I think there was a magnesium pemoline that people have been seeking. Not sure if that is the same as prescription Pemoline.

Good to know , its just been so tough to find info. My psychiatrist even told me "yes that anger is a part of the side effects" he thinks its a terrible drug , has only one other (female) patient thats on it.

is Desoxyn available in Japan? I wonder why they put you on something like Pemoline? I would think Desoxyn would be better than Pemoline, no specific reason other than meth is proven and has been around longer. Plus, consider Pemoline is no longer prescribed in the U.S.

Pemoline isn't an amphetamine by true definition, it's more of an oxazoline class of drug.

Desoxyn , never heard of it ...so is it not a stimulant ?

I think the only legal stimulants are  Ritalin (mainly prescribed to minors & narcoleptics in Japan) , Modafinil and Pemoline (Betanamin) and all else that is a stimulant is illegal in Japan as far as I know.

Its a pity I wasn't diagnosed with narcolepsy because I have most the symptoms , but if I have narcolepsy and sleep apnea I don't see how the sleep test could give a clear diagnosis result as apnea prevents REM sleep and that is what determines that the patient has narcolepsy.

Desoxyn is methamphetamine so it is a stimulant so is Pemoline. Pemoline is not an amphetamine though, it is an oxazoline. These are all stimulants. Out of the 3 you listed, I would take Modafinil over Ritalin. I have no personal experience with it but it looks like it has a good profile. I have the adrafinil but never tried it yet. I think Japan's history with methamphetamine (Desoxyn) during the WW1 and WW2 is the reason it isn't prescribed in Japan.

modafinil is not an amphetamine either but also belonging in the stimulant class:

Modafinil is a wakefulness-promoting agent[3] (or eugeroic).

Desoxyn , never heard of it ...so is it not a stimulant ?

There are some very positive experiences on line regarding pemoline, they make it sound like a miracle drug, for attention, energy, motivation even socializing, there are people using it for decades in the past with continuous positive results and no side effects. Probably too good to be true, but I wish I had a chance to try it...
