Both a high-potency multivitamin (Doctor's Best Multiple) and basic one (Centrum) causing foul-smelling flatulence. Why?

So, for the longest time I thought I had giardia because my gas smelled horrific.

However, I noticed that it went away when I stopped my multivitamin. I tried the multivitamin and it returned. I did a couple more start-and-stop tests to see if it was it, and indeed it was the multi. This was Doctor's Best "Best Multiple".

So, then I decided to try Centrum to see if lowering the potency would help. No go. Still same horrific smell.

What could be causing this, and what can I do about it? No other foods cause me problems. I don't have celiac disease, gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, or any food allergies that I know of.

Could be a detoxification (if that's even possible from vitamins/minerals) reaction or a side effect from a certain vitamin or mineral in your multi-v's. To start ruling things out, try a B-complex. If your symptoms cease, you can rule out B vitamins and focus on the other ingredients that are in both mulit-v's. There's a lot of vitamins/minerals that can produce GI side effects, so if you're going to continue using multi vitamins then this is how I'd go about isolating the cause.

I've ruled out the B complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Iron, and Zinc

The possible candidates left: Vitamin E (my main suspicion), Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Potassium

Do you take it with food? If you don't, the fat soluble vitamins will not get absorbed and could be causing these problems.

You may already know, but in case it helps your research - sulfur-like compounds or metabolites are responsible for the bad smell of farts.
