Hey everyone,

I am new to nootropics but have been testing out how certain supplements affect the body in the health realm for awhile now.  I am looking to create the ultimate stack for myself for focus, energy, memory, fluency, and cognitive function.  My main focus is to improve function at work, cognitive function for studying for school, and faster and better recall when utilizing the foreign language I am studying  while being able to utilize them long term. I also plan on testing out best stack for test taking.  The following is a list of the Nootropics I currently have on hand:

Piracetam, Aniracetam, Oxiracetam, Adrafanil, Noopept, CDP-Choline, Barcopa Monnieri, Rhodiola Rosea, Ashwagandha, Mucuna Pruriens, DMAE, Picamilon, Sulbutiamine, Vinpocetine, Methylcobalamin (Methyl B12), Fish oil, Orange Triad

I plan on starting with the following stack and adjusting to find the right amounts for me:

300mg Bacopa in morning with whole milk

500mg Rhodiola (250mg x 2) morning and afternoon

1000mg Ashwagandha (500mg x 2) morning and night

150mg Mucuna Pruriens at night

1 pill Methylcobalamin sublingually

4 Fish oil pills

3 Orange Triad

Once I have adjusted and found the right amounts of the Bacopa, Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, and Mucuna I plan on adding in the DMAE, Sulbutiamine, and Picamilon one at a time until I find the right amount of those as well.  Only after I have all of those in my stack will I start to play around with the others. So my stack should look something like:

300mg Bacopa in morning with whole milk

500mg Rhodiola (250mg x 2) morning and afternoon

1000mg Ashwagandha (500mg x 2) morning and night

150mg Mucuna Pruriens at night

500mg ?? Sulbutiamine (1 dose in morning?) with whole milk

100mg? Picamilon (1 dose?) morning

100mg? DMAE (1 dose?) morning

1 pill Methylcobalamin sublingually

4 Fish oil pills

3 Orange Triad

I do have a couple of questions if anyone has any thoughts.  Do the dosages up there look like good amounts for each to start off with before tweaking?   Should I already add in CDP Choline in that or wait until taking racetams?  Do the timings of those doses look right?

I am not planning on cycling the Bacopa or Rhodiola.  Should I cycle Ashwagandha or Mucuna?  If so should it be 5 days 2 off, or something like 8 weeks on 2 weeks off?  How about recommended cycling of Sulbutiamine, Picamilon, and DMAE?

Sorry for the long post,  I am just posting everything that is in my head right now as I build out this plan.  I will be starting tomorrow on the stack without the Sulbutiamine, Picamilon, and DMAE.  I will let you know how it goes.

I’m worried that you’re getting too much GABA stimulation with this stack. You’re running the risk of strongly downregulating your GABA receptors taking, daily, Ashwagandha, Mucuna, and Picamilon. The Sulbutiamine might help to upregulate GABA a bit, but the tolerance of Sulb. itself rapidly goes up. I recommend removing the Mucuna, and using Picamilon perhaps on alternating days. Ashwagandha has less risk overall, but taking it daily can still downregulate GABA, so be sure to cycle it occasionally. You might consider taking Fasoracetam, which helps with focus and is a GABA upregulator with no tolerance building. As for DMAE, you may find that it helps, or that it doesn’t help at all (like I did), so consider Alpha GPC or Centrophenoxine instead if you don’t like it.

Vantagepoint,

I'm actually thinking I will just cut out the picamilon, and I am thinking of cycling the Ashwagandha (possibly a 5 on 2 off or 4 weeks on one week off).  Does Alpha GPC have a benefit over CDP choline or DMAE?

Also I believe Mucuna is a dopamine precursor, and doesn't down regulate GABA.  I understand that it depletes serotonin and so I will be adding 5-HTP to cycle with the Mucuna.
