Last week I started to implement dark chocolate (around 80% cocoa) into my diet. One portion of 25g is perfectly fine. Taking larger portions will cause headache depending on the amount taken.

Out of interest I want to know what is causing this. When doing a google search many discussions come up, none of them useful. Could it have something to do with the up regulation of neurotransmitters? I am on SSRIs.

The exact same thing happens to me. Usually at the 50g mark of 70% cacao, I start getting a headache. I am on cipralex 10mg.
