Circulatory levels of insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1), glucose, and cortisol
have been previously associated with facial aging. However, as these serum
measures are related, it is unclear whether their associations with skin aging
occur independently from each other. We aimed to investigate whether the
associations between serum IGF-1, glucose, and cortisol levels and perceived
age/wrinkle grade occur independently of each other and whether these are
mediated via skin wrinkling or via other skin aging features. Perceived age and
skin wrinkling grade were assessed in a random sample from the Leiden Longevity
Study with non-fasted (N = 579) and fasted blood sampling (N = 219). In our study
population, a higher non-fasted IGF-1 level was associated with a lower skin
wrinkling grade (p value = 0.014) and tended to associate with a lower perceived
age (p value = 0.067), which was mediated for approximately 100 % by skin
wrinkling. A higher non-fasted glucose level was associated with a higher
perceived age (p value = 0.017), which was mediated for 51 % by skin wrinkling
grade (p value = 0.112). A higher fasted cortisol level tended to associate with
a higher perceived age (p value = 0.116), which was mediated for 29 % by skin
wrinkling. Results remained similar when the serum measures were statistically
adjusted for each other. Thus, the previously reported serum measures associate
independently from each other with skin aging. IGF-1 is predominantly associated
with perceived age by skin wrinkling, whereas cortisol and glucose also by other
skin aging features.

There are numerous peptides that increase IGF-1. Currently, the bodybuilding world is saturated with such.

Ipamoralin, CIC-1295, GHRP2 versions of IGF-1, such as IGF-1 LR3, HGH Fragment 176-191, and of course hGH itself, but these other GH variant/stim  molecules attenuate some of GH's undesirable effects to focus on the desirable effects - mostly for body composition, but one can assume that they would have effects on skin and any collagenous tissues, as well as fat and muscle.

And then there's hGH itself, but it has legal problems requiring a difficult-to-get prescription and hGH costs a mint.

I report that C6000 caused the most decrease in the depth of wrinkles on my face, until I started Epitalon.

I only started Epitalon a week ago, but several deep wrinkles, one that resides exactly on a scar that C60oo didn't seem to affect, have become nearly invisible.

I've been watching the Epitalon groups here for a year or two and, after much reading, started a course of it at 5-10 mg day sub-q.

I will keep using it, likely in cycles with thymalin, forever.

The effect on my skin is that impressive. And maybe it will be part of the tools that allow me to live, virtually forever.

I'd be happy with another hundred years of healthy living. But yes, smooth, wrinkle-free skin is a tell-all about what is going on inside.

My siblings each have the typical 60+ year old wrinkles, baggy skin, etc... and mine are little and continue to grow less and less.

Epitalon appears to be what the proponents say it is, maybe the most potent anti-aging molecule of all.

5 - 10 mg per day of Epi is a bigger dose than I've heard of. You must use a vial every day or two. Where are you getting Thymalin? I can't get it.

I get thymalin from https://www.superpep...lin-50-mg/6-149, as they have the best price that I've found in the US. $129 for 50 mg.

However, I just located a European source of Timalin, which is the naturally-derived peptide that Thymalin (synthesized) was based on and the price is only $1.90 for 10 mg.

I also see Timalin sold on Amazon for $29 for 10 x 10 mg.vials.

But it says that it is shipped from Russia, so the European source above is probably Russian and might be the same place that Amazon is serving.
