Anyone here know if the mechanism of action is similar to corticosteroids?

When I was 17 I developed a blinking tic that probably came from use of corticosteroids.  This lasted for around 10 years until I started taking clonidine, and then it eventually reduced until it was essentially gone.  I'm sure it isnt gone, just kept in a lesser state from the drug.  This has been the case for around 6 years.

While trying to treat tinnitus I was occasionally taking pqq.  I would take 10mg on the weekends sometimes, not really too regualarly.  The other day I took 20mg in one day and a bit later I noticed a sensation in my eyes that I had not had since I started the drug for my blinking.  It's not as bad as before, and so far I haven't actually had to close my eyes to make it go away, but it feels like it's there in the bakcground.  I am actually afraid it si coming back.  Recently I have been very aware of the pressure in my eyes and how strong it is and I am trying to wait because it might go away if it was some reaction to the pqq.

I want to know if pqq has any result in the body like corticosteroids, since there are reports of them exacerbating tics.

Another possibility is that my high school was shut down due to toxic black mold which may have been related to what happened.  Recently I have been at my parents house going through my old stuff, and some of the stuff from high school may have caused me to get more mold and make the condition harsher.
