Hello,

I'd like to know if someone can give me advice on how to help minimize my chances of scaring after a surgical incision (emergency C section ) I had two months ago. The wound healed. Now it's a pink flat scar. How can I jump start my body to better heal this scar?

I'm currently taking 2,000 mg of vitamin
1,000 mg of MSM
120,000 SPU of Serrapeptase
50 mg of Zinc
500 mg of Silica
5,000 iu Vitamin D3
400 iu Vitamin E
500 mg of Bromelain
950 mg of Gotu Kola
100 mg of selenium
100 mg B2
100 mg B12

I am also using a silicone sheet to prevent keloiding.

Anyone have any other input to help my skin heal near to seamlessly ?

It might be worth trying some topicals. I would suggest checking out Vitamin C, Vitamin E and niacinamide. They each do slightly different things to the epidermis and together might give a good coverage. I would keep going for a year, even after the scar seems set, as it might improve in appearance as new skin turns over from beneath.
