I've heard about selegiline while searching for ways to desensitize my dopamine receptors. But I've read that selegiline makes more dopamine available by inhibiting its break down, letting more dopamine stay in the receptors for longer periods of time.. Wouldnt this result in even MORE desensitization of the receptors? How does its method of action differ from any drug that floods the synapses with dopamine or addiction behavior?
