Hello!

Just had my blood test done this week and received some first results today.

Testosterone: 16,4 (normal range: 9 - 35)

SHBG: 40 (10 - 70)

Free testosterone: 0,41 (0,2 - 1)

DHEA: 6,2 (2 - 16)

There's more to come (e.g. things related to kidneys, liver, allergies and food sensitivities, etc.), but I hope someone can help me understand the above already.

Now, why did I get tested?

I'm in my late 20s, male, experiencing the following symptoms: mood swings (sometimes changing hourly), intrusive/obsessive thoughts (not constant), depression (low/moderate and not constant), anxiety (especially social, but also general sometimes), fatigue, weaker erections (than, let's say, 2 years ago), brain fog, bloating,...

None of the symptoms above are extreme, but definitely annoying. It seems like I might either have hypoglycemia (since I do feel my moods fluctuate depending on the carb/sugar intake) or candida (my doctor noticed some yeast in the form of white spots on my arms). Anyways, I just added more healthy fat and started slowly eliminating sugar, gluten, grains and lactose from my diet to see what happens. After two days, the bloating's almost gone.

What supplements have I tried?

I'm currently on Saint John's Wort and it's been very helpful in terms of reducing anxiety/mood swings and helping me sleep better. I also take zinc at least twice a week. I've tried ashwagandha, fish oil, gotu kola, cordyceps, rhodiola rosea, all sorts of vitamins, 5-htp, tryptophan, tyrosine, racetams (piracetam, oxiracetam, aniracetam), noopept, uridine, choline, etc etc. Some of them helped a bit, while others (choline in particular) made me feel horrible.

Apart from the supplements, I've recently started doing yoga at least 2-3 times a week.

Any input, suggestions, recommendations, advice, questions and anything else are more than welcome.
