How To Reduce Stress Hormones / Response From Anxiety?

Hi,

 

Been told by my doctor that my brain fog is caused by anxiety as I'm over-stressed. Does anyone know if any supplements or things to try to reduce the Fight-or-flight response naturally to get rid of reduced awareness / concentration.

 

I know about stuff like drinking more water, exercise and good diet but is there any supplements or anything else to help?

Well to be honest with you I'm not so sure what's causing my stress. I don't feel stressed, although the doctor said that my brain fog sounds like a lack of concentration caused by anxiety / stress response. I was browsing the internet and found something that was talking about it. I think this is what my doctor was talking about: 

 

"stress hormones suppress the rationalization areas of the brain (the cortex) and increase the activity in the fear center of the brain (the amygdala). This combination reduces the ability to logically rationalize and process information while at the same time increases the awareness of danger, fear, apprehension, gloom and doom."

Only from personal experience: The best stress, anxiety and depression killer for me has always been High intensity interval training ( https://en.wikipedia...terval_training ). And I have taken dozens of antidepressants and anxiolytics. It's just extremely tough to do it regularly which limits its usefulness for many people. I also have great difficulties in maintaining a regular training schedule. Maybe you find it easier?

Meh, so far only: rest/sleep, NSI, sometimes a beer. Might work on reducing cortisol chemically.
