I been not doing too well these past few months. I look anemic or diabetic with dark ghastly circles around eyes even though previous blood tests show no anemia. Even after eating I am constantly hungry within an hour or two. I lost lot of weight. Few years ago I was 147. Right now I am 115 and 5'7 Male, early 30's. I try to eat at least 3+ meals a day even though I have very very poor appetite. lot of brain fog. veryyyy poor energy. usually feel worse after sleeping and sluggish as hell when I wake up and very unrefreshed.  Have some small red spots on my face that have been getting worse (not acne). Some slightly discolored spots on other side of my face. Lot of scalp acne. I have fungal infection on my back but that has improved 90% due to nizoral anti-fungal shampoo and Ketoderm cream but I have some slightly large red spots on my back which my previous dermotologist could not explain. I also have a lump on the back of my neck where my lymph area is. It feels like a small jelly bean, very solid. It's been there over a month. Toe fungus too btw.  I mention that because it may be all connected.   Is this likely a mold infection or something viral?       I should note that when I tried some DigestGold ATB-Pro junk the spots on my face got noticably worse! But usually dark spots and somewhat went away after few hours.  This may be because those digestive enzymes are mold derived. Unfortunate because my mood and energy were improved.  Perhaps it's a bad interaction with whatever is happening down there in my digestive system??  I feel these days like my normal meds and supplements are far less effective and often shorter in duration. It's harder for me to ''feel'' my meds usually.

Waiting on more recent test tomorrow as the doc will email me but I will need to get some others done.

Just not sure what on earth to do.  These worthless doctors give me these 5 minute appointments and I'm always left guessing.   I usually don;'t have the energy to leave the house honestly.  I look very malnourished. I had some special tests done last year which showed me having suppressed central nervous system.      I have very low Testosterone, hypothyroid,  low estrogen, very low cortisol.   Usually difficulty dealing with stress.   My anhedonic depression is bad enough as it is but it feels like I am even more confined by my extra sluggishness and slow impaired cognitive functioning. Aniracetam had been slightly helping thank goodness.

I just can't manage to put on weight. I am constantly at a loss of energy and even more withdrawn than usual.

What may be recommendations for boosting immune system outside of LDN? Since that can worsen mold issues. And any supplements I should actively avoid during such situation? Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm try to maintain Mitochondrial energy ATP, SIRT1, and NO(nitric oxide) and maintain Blood sugar levels throughout the day Glucose, Insulin, GI Metabolism would be a healthy start!

Idk, just brainstorming, Have you had your Thyroid and/or Hormone levels checked? Dieting can really irritate them, can be off balancing...

Hi Alex,

For a long time I've gone dealt with most of what you wrote about.. minus the spots and fungus and/or viral infection.

I'm no doctor, only a guy that's done a lot of research and reading and all of what I say is just suggestion.

As I read what you wrote I kind of had the feel of CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), that can happen with ppl who have depression and don't seek treatment. However, the fungal/viral isn't anything I've read about in regards to CFS but it is something I've read about when reading about Thyroid issues. Just as Mr. Psy mentioned, it is something to look into.

If your doc is open to it, get a Thyroid test. Familiarize yourself with where your levels should be as some docs will look at your test and think you're in the ball park when really your Thyroid is just on the low end of the ball-park of where you should still be treated, maybe not with an over-the-counter but with something more natural. I've read that iodine is the main player in the Thyroid. Kelp/Seaweed is one of the most naturally abundant forms of Iodine. I don't know if recommending a certain brand is allowed but I found NOW has a good blend.

Before taking this supp, I encourage you to find out exactly what the prob is and if it is a Thyroid issue which type, Hypo or Hyper.

Good luck.

I would definitely encourage you to pressure the docs into performing more labwork. Often times the downstream effects, such as HPA suppression, are found as abnormal however the root cause is thrown by the way-side. From their point of view once they're good as long they can put a label to it. I'd check for any tick related pathogens, such as Lyme disease, Babesia, Bartonella etc., they tend to be the most insidious. Others I would look into are Epstein barr and Mycoplasma; I would assume that candidiasis would be in the forefront with your fungal issues.

In the mean time you may wish to look into a SERM for your low T levels, clomid should work quite well in balancing the HPA axis.  Take plenty of fish oil and b vitamins, DHEA, and pregnenolone, most of these are needed in abundance for steroid production. Pregnenolone may transiently decrease cortisol so play it by ear for this.

At is rather interesting that all of your levels are low...Something interesting, Mycoplasma actually utilizes/steals cholesterol that would be needed for the synthesis of steroids...I would assume somewhere in your labwork they would have these checked.

Might be depression. I have similar symptoms and doctors were useless for me. My depression seems to be related to anxiety, so maybe it is the same for you.

Good luck with finding the correct treatment, and try visiting a doctor since its free for you.
