Maybe C60 balls stay inside the DNA helix?

They can fit in

DNA helix outside diameter is about 20 Angstrom (2.0 nm) and the inside diameter is about 11 A (1.1 nm).
C60 diameter is about 7 A (0.7 nm).

So maybe C60 just stays inside the DNA helix as an inert backbone thus preventing DNA breaks or some other damage?

C60 is widely available in outer space and some scientists think it might have worked as a backbone allowing "mineral" aminoacids to gather together to create DNA and thus the first life form.

What tests can prove or disprove C60 inside DNA?
Maybe an electronic microscope or diffraction testing?
