Hi guys, there is a debate that is coming up in a few days on IQ2. In addition, there also is a poll that you could vote on if you'd like.

Check it out, this debate should be interesting, seeing the chief science officer of SENS with the CEO of the Buck Institute.

This is essentially the poll:

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

FOR THE MOTION

Radical life extension would lead to overpopulation and depletion of resources.

Scientific resources are better spent curing known diseases and improving existing quality of life.

Radical life extension is at odds with the natural and cultural process of life and death.

AGAINST THE MOTION

Radical life extension is simply the next step in scientific and medical progress.

Anti-aging technology prevents the suffering of old age and age-related disease.

Longer lifespans increase an individual’s ability to contribute wealth to society.

I can't see the streaming, but the question is a no-brainer. If fighting aging were so bad, why are we fighting other diseases and other causes of death like car accidents? And why almost all old people are afraid of death? And why old people have no right to live?
