Hello,i'm interested in lion's mane mushroom, more exactly of NGF boosting power that it has. First of all i want to know if someone took it for recovery after TBI and if this mushroom can help with slow information processing speed. What exactly NGF does? It can repair damaged neurons or/and it can promote neurogenesis? What is the difference between BDNF and NGF? What exactly each do in the brain?

I've read that BDNF leads to an increase in neurogenesis but is this really useful considering that it is known that human brain lose neurons every day?
