Hi

This is my first post on this board. I would like to ask you whther is any good reason to supplement l tyrosine while you don't have your thyroid. As I know  tyrosine is converted in thyroid gland to T4 by iodinaze. If you don't have thyroid and supplement tyrosine would it raise your T4 and T3(thyroid hormones)? I also would like to mention that this situation  concern me. Im taking 175 mcg of levothyroxine every day (T4), and my post operative levels of T4 and T3 are lower than pr operative (especially T3).

I was looking for answer or information about this in whole english language internet forums and boards, but couldnt find nothing. That's why I post this question here. I notice that users of this board are pretty smart and maybe could help me.
