Is that correct? Why would they advertise that these diets burn off brown fat? Don't we want to keep the stuff and grow more of it? Wouldn't ridding ourselves of it predispose ourselves to continued lifelong diabesity?

What exactly is an HCG diet?  I infer from the tags that HCG stands for human chorionic gonadotropin, but what sort of diet connects to this?

500-1000 calories per day. The HCG is supposed to preserve muscle while causing fat loss of 1-3 pounds/day allowing the user to retain muscle in order to maintain calorie burning potential after the workout. But it's worrisome that one could lose all of their brown fat doing this and I'd imagine this could be a very dangerous thing to do if that is truly the case. Brown fat loss is a symptom of aging IIRC and leads to diabesity?

So is it the 125iu e5d or e3d that causes it? Would a lower dose or simply using it longer term with calorie restriction as opposed to massive starving be preferred?

I guess it's worth wondering if long term water fasts for hormesis reduce brown fat and to what extent...

What can regenerate brown fat?

Hmmm... viagra seems to turn white fat into beige fat. What do you think? Would taking viagra continuously or along with HCG and dieting increase or at least preserve brown fat?

Do thermogenic wines increase brown fat or just activate it? What about the effect of higher T from HCG?

:BUMP:

Very interesting questions being posed by OP.  I wish i had something to add, but don't.  Hoping someone has something to add that can enlighten us further.

Some Hormone Replacement protocols for men are using HCG in place or with Testosterone replacement long term..

Also, sometimes HCG is is used with AAS cycles to avert testicular hypertrophy and to assist PCT at the end.

Being that there are several widespread applications of HCG being used, it would be nice to shed some light on this possible issue.

Thanks for your post YOLF!
