Not sure what op is about. Valproate is a horrible horrible substance i wish i never put in my body for 2 months. didnt really help my bad bipolar 2 anyway. biggest regret of my life. also antpsychotics are more dangerous than cocaine. its all poison... im no mr natural, is just fact

i totally cured my debilitating bp2 with NAC and ALCAR with fish oil. also started taking other supplements and eating healthy. pretty much went away over a couple weeks. I was also pretty skinny and not on any other drugs/rx. best luck. many or all bipolar cases are caused by the bodys inability to remove toxins. instead of the toxins being excreted, theyre reabsorbed and you "get high" on the same toxins over and over, causing mania or depressive symptoms. normally parasites are the source of these toxins and producing more and more.

personality disorders are often caused by overcompensating for chronic illness/pain/not being able to function as you wish. so if you cure your infections and fix your detox and any malnutrition and then like wipe your mind/ego/waddever you might be able to overcome borderline. food for thought

What am I about?  In this post, it clearly says I had a strategy.. that strategy was to find herbal compounds which mimic the actions of established pharmaceuticals.  Btw, I have a different strategy with every topic, an identity crisis.. call it what you will.  But whatever you may say it remains the case that one person's experience with a medicine is not grounds for dismissing it as a whole.  That's like, just your experience man.

I'm curious, did ALCAR help as much as NAC?  I know ALCAR has some promising effects promoting the dopamine receptor (e.g. [1], [2]), even though uridine has received more attention here (in my opinion, unduly more).  But NAC regulates glutamate, which is equally important, and more difficult to control.  I was trying to cover it over with magnesium and some odd ideas.  I didn't even consider NAC, thanks for bringing it to my attention!  Apparently it has powerful immunostimulating effects as well, and might help control parasites, viruses, and whatnot.

It's not as simple as a physical detox, obviously.  Some people have always eaten impeccably, and still had issues.  It's a total way of life, a spiritual and mental detox.  Are you in charity with the world or not.  And for the longest while, I really, strongly was not.  It's about wiping yourself blank, the blank slate, the state you and the buddhists speak of.  From there you return to a new start, a fresh beginning.  Not easy stuff by any stretch of the word, not for an impatient lad at least

i dont think im dismissing anything you said...

without alcar or without nac, i still had mood cycling, so they are both integral.

people who "eat impeccably" are often still deficient in some nutrients and still you dont get parasites just from eating food. Id say 90% of the effort is going through detox. first detoxing heavy metals (blood test useless, must be hair test, or just see if one responds to andy cutlers chelation/low dose ala protocol) since the immune system will always be too weak if one has stuff like Hg, killing the parasites/bacteria and detoxing the toxins they create and created by their dead bug bodies. then one will feel "normal" or better or like a child when they last felt healthy. then the mental healing happens, though it has already been happening as one feels better in some ways, during detox. when one is sick its hard to imagine how to heal. i was bed ridden for awhile, after a lifetime of getting sicker. i needed hash and then heroin to do anything. heroin at least showed me how good and functional I could be if i was healthy, it was like a candle in the dark, after a good decade of being so so sick and having no idea what not being sick was like. for awhile i thought being sick was normal. and think that is why so many are reluctant to try parasite cleanses, they think they are not sick because they dont know how good they can feel when healthy and/or theyre so arrogant and think these bugs inside are what make me, me, i dont want to kill that, i love myself and wouldnt want to kill part of myself!!

the modern cultural marxist/post modern bleh trend of solipsism is a) making people stupid and little and b) making sick people, sicker, more helpless and more into super victims. many folks consciously narrate their lives passively or second to how they feel/experience. this is how they sculpt their ego/facebook/narcissism. they do not acknowledge the fact that how they feel doesn't matter, it is something can be totally changed. for example when one says, I feel like a woman born in a mans body, they dont acknowledge the fact that their hormone system and brain is probably messed up from infections. like a mountain lion that becomes submissive when caught in a bear trap, since that is its only hope of survival, someone helping it. their narrow view says oh i feel submissive and more fem than masculine so i must be a lady. that is the easiest example i can think of to explain the passive solipsism victim thinking that ruins so many people with depression/mental/chronic illness. progressive west culture encourages this poor thinking and its very dangerous.

its arrogance/pride that comes from overcompensating from being marginalized like people are today, the younger the more marginalized. not totally on topic but somewhat...

patient is a virtue they say. years ago i remember thinking, americans are getting less patient and more ugly. it takes a lot to step out of the comfy ez box of instant gratification but one cant even fathom they wonderful reward of doing so. im not sure how easy it is to totally let go and start over without illegal drugs, but its totally possible and anyone brave/strong enough should (and naturally, will) do it.

So how would you go about detoxing and supporting the immune system while killing off three infections, one of which has disseminated past the blood brain barrier; Neuroborreliosis, Bartonella and Babesiosis.

My endocrine system is all messed up because of the infections and the antibiotics I'm taking, I'm trying to focus on a detox support protocol that helps to balence on Th1/Th2 response but have yet to find the perfect one. IV rocephin has helped tremendously with the mental issues I was experiencing, i.e. depersonalization, psychotic like episodes but the Lyme arthritis and bone pain is detrimental and has caused me to quit a lot of things I once could do, like skiing and mountain biking. I'm pretty much bedridden and can't drive because of poor motor skills and optic nerve issues. Honestly, I still know how it feels to be normal and healthy, so I'm thankful that when I do get back to my normal self I won't be doubtful. Nonetheless, I have been apathetic, anxious and sensitive lately. I was never like this before contracting these infections, I was the complete opposite; a leader, someone who people looked up to. Now everyone is leaving me and it isn't there faults, I just can't keep up with them.

I won't fulfill my genetic potential with these infections but I can if I beat them, I need to put them in remission and/or eradicate them but I also need a good detox program, I just always hear differing opinions and I'm just confused.

You see, with birthdaysuit, he has lyme, so the whole infections wreaking havoc on the mind is valid.  But with the general population it's a stretch.  The infections surely become active later in life and cause dysfunction, when the immune system is weakened, but to suggest they have less than a negligible effect in the youth... the burden of proof is starting to point in your direction, like a bad game of twister.  Anyone deficient in one or more nutrients is not eating impeccably, theyre either not tracking their nutes or not adjusting their diet.  I pay a lot of attention to immune health, rarely have external flare ups (e.g. cold sores), avoid stray cats, and have little reason to feel persuaded that infectious agents are playing a measurable role in my mental health.

He'd recommended NAC in another thread, against membraneless Mycoplasma.  At least one person reported it helpful against lyme, with his idea being an antioxidant mechanism.  Why is it any better than the 10000 other antioxidants? No clue, really.

Birthdaysuit- buhners herbs for neurolyme and Bart. Ivermectin for babesia. I tried a lot for babesia and that is the only thing that totally kills my babesia. Pine pollen powder and tincture for endocrine, na k mg levels too. You will never get better if you have mercury toxicity too
I also believe walking 5 to 20miles a day and using high THC+cbd coconut cannabis oil topically and orally was very helpful. Smoking gaping only good for short term symptom relief not so much healing.

Gamesguru- everyone has parasites. Those with poor detox genetics have it much worse. Everyone had been exposed to Lyme, generally those with poor immune systems get it to any degree. Lyme is easy to treat. What's much more concerning and unknown are militarized mycoplasma, bacteria without cell wall so immune to abx and so tens to hundreds of thousands can fit in one human cell. Mycoplasma is what causes many diseases and disorders, even all or many aids / CFS etc....I'd bet everything I have those did gene wilder in. Possibly even Hillary lol. One can have a good immune system and still have infections too. Herbs and supplements cleanse now and again are essential to be healthy as possible. If you think those preventatives are enough to avoid infection you're wrong. unless you live in a sterile room and nothing goes in and out you will be exposed to most everything eventually. Ever increasing vaccines keeps making everyone's immune systems weaker as well. My mom had ton of hg from amalgam fillings and the first borne gets the majority of the mothers heavy metals. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Kids getting so many vaccines get more than their fair share of metals as well.

NAC isn't better than all other antioxidants AFAIK, its just a good place to start.

I remember reading about parasites ten years ago think haha I'm so glad I don't have that crap. Little did I know I had so many. Arrogance of youth and inexperience.
