After years of absolutely ridiculous supplement use and poor decisions (starting testosterone replacement therapy at 24 because my levels are low, instead of waiting to see if they would get better), I think my brain has just absolutely had it.

I know how ironic and ridiculous it is to ask for MORE supplements to fix all of this, but I'm not looking for anything crazy or that will drastically alter mental function.

I'm just curious about extremely sustainable, well-researched, long-term strategies I could use which would help my brain heal and clean up all the junk and confusion I've been pushing on it.

The only ones I can seem to currently identify are Omega-3, coconut oil, and maybe phosphatidylserine.

I just want to fix all of this.

What was causing T to be low? I know LEF likes to recommend aromatase inhibitors to keep T precursors from getting converted to E in fat cells if you're over weight. Not achieving high enough levels can also lead to other pathologies. Make sure you're getting to the upside of a youthful range and getting enough sleep. Not getting sleep can lower your levels and affect your brain and you might not recognize it so much if you're compensating with T.

If you're looking for clean and sustainable, nothing beats the proven benefits of lifestyle measures like an excellent diet, exercise, and rest. Lots of greens, berries and other vegs, proteins, healthy fats, maybe intermittent fasting. Bear in mind that strategies with longer term benefits also tend to take longer to make those benefits obvious, so especially if you are withdrawing from more drug-like substances you may even feel worse at first unless you taper while starting your new program.

Supplements like omega 3s, coconut oil, and phosphatitylserine, though, are already on the sustainable side of things because their roles are not so much drug-like as they are nutritional. A comprehensive multi would also fall in this category. But if you have some kind of hormonal imbalance such as low testosterone that persists even while your general health practices are tip-top, there may be also good reason to wrap a targeted testosterone therapy into your program.
