What qualifications are required to work in Cryonics?

Cryonics is very contraversy and not very official in many countries, e.g. there are not government rquirements for working in cryonics.

Ah, I was thinking more as in what would be useful for this work.

Not alot of jobs in cryonics. But Dr. Max More is a PhD. in Physics and President of Alcor. Others are lawyers, EMTs, and surgeons or funeral directors. I'd pick one of those. Others are mentored into things. I think Alcor also has some media/communications types... best to check their website for the details of their team.

 

Jordan Sparks is a dentist that used his wealth and influence to start a cryonics company. Contact them personally over the phone, talk alot, they're open to chatting and will tell you what you need to know. They want and need people to run this stuff when they go to their cryotubes.

If you are young and going to enter university, I suggest you study chemistry (and maybe also biology) in order to develop a new cryoprotectant. It's the #1 need in the cryonics industry.
