So there is a definite lack of good weight forum. It's all basically owned by people with no incentive to advance technologies and create cures such as gene therapies or it's not getting alot of attention.

I'd like to add a weight loss section to the Lifestyle forum that would be separate from calorie restriction. I'd start by moving topics from around the forum on the subject of weight loss to it and start conversations to that effect.

Weight loss is a giant industry, and an easy target for improvement by futurists such as ourselves who are looking to new technologies and self experimenting with things.

Good idea.  I am not overweight but weight is related to longevity.  (so is height :))  How about intermediate fasting?

Yeah, it's all about weight loss, and anti aging is really a necessary part of the cure for it.

I recently lost 10 pounds on a plant based and whole foods diet. I think there's definite room for improvement based on scientific literature, so would love to share ideas and talk with others about it!
