Antipsychotics as a last resort what would be the best natural way to regulate dopamine levels if someone is overly suspicious of people all the time and a little paranoid?? Like they think everyone is after their girlfriend all the time and stuff like that. I have heard that too high dopamine can cause these symptoms.

most likely too low. as only 1% of the population is schizophrenic and that's what your referring to which is a completely different out to get you then general paranoia like being suspicious that is basically your intuition working in overdrive...low dopamine in my opinion equates with not as many thoughts so your in your mind more instead of being mindfully aware of things and letting them pass

but antipsychotics do yes help with general paranoia too but I'd stay away from them they decrease pleasure, drive, motivation

I think that kind of paranoia originates more out of impaired emotional processing, possibly related to depression: negative emotional bias, self-focus, self-rumination, etc.

Schizophrenic paranoia tends to be much more unreal/unrealistic scenarios than just impaired emotional processing paranoia.

There is a 'paranoid personality disorder', bobby fischer was thought to be a sufferer.

Treatment options include talk therapy, as well as mood stabilizers, anxiolytics, antidepressents and antipsychotics. I made a thread on bipolar, borderline, and natural options. And another on schizotypy (which again overlaps somewhat with paranoia). Flex has posted uncommon natural antidepressants and antipsychotics

No sorry he posts them randomly, and I never made an effort to organize them. They're around. My threads, on the other hand, well organized and easily acceptable (just goto my topics)
