I am having a huge debate in my head right now on whether to leave my full-time, 27k, military career (my career provides a 35k lifestyle with no life stress), and go into college full-time. Going into college full-time will enable me to take advantage of scholarships I have now, and allow me to maximize the time to get my degree. I want to be a nurse, but the issue is that because of the job there would be no way to get it done without seperating for 4 years to get clinicals done starting at ground 0. And I know I have to do remedial education. Also another con would be lack of income coming in, years to my pension, padding my resume (work experience), and having resources at hand.

The only way I will be able to accomplish what I want to do if I decide to re-enlist would be to live a caffeine-little sleep and knock out colleges courses on the side. Then go into an accelerated nursing program right afterwards (1.5 to 2 yrs), and then get back into the work force.
