So I've been a member on this site for a while now and I've always wanted to dive deeper but never had a blueprint of which cognitive enhancers to use. The only thing I will say that I have used with success is L-Theanine and Caffeine but I want to go beyond that.

I want to be so focused, I want long term and short term memory increased I want my mind to be at the best possible state for information consumption.

Is adderall an option? I've heard people can get some good cognitive enhancements when on adderall, but are there better nootropics?

Adderall is an amphetamine which is not good for your body, you might want to look at modafinil for good results without bad side effects and physical addiction.

Choline, Uridine, DHA (brought to public attention by MrHappy)
250mg CDP Choline
250mg Uridine – as UMP
4 gram DHA - from flax seed oil / need to avoid fish oil due to side effects

The Mr Happy stack (aka uridine) and CILTEP are both good.

There are also some great herbal options for cognitive (and health) enhancement.

Gotu kola
Rhodiola rosea
Celastrus Paniculatus (aka the intellect tree)
Gynostemma (aka jiaogulan)

These will also likely prolong your life too.

I've tried bacopa monnieri and rhodiola rose to some benefit. Some high grade fish oil. Look into the ketogenic diet or intermittent fasting. Most importantly though, train the memory. The brain is very much like a muscle. Oh, also exercise is gigantic in terms to mental sharpness
