Futurist and visionary, Jacques Fresco, just turned 100. I thought I should share this because whatever you think of his ideas (and I'm not so sure myself), his intellectual capacity at an age when 75% of people have Alzheimer's is nothing short of astonishing. He works tirelessly at the nexus of architecture, technology, economics, and sociology in the name of creating a better world, all while hosting tours of his engineering offices and residence to the public. The video below is almost 2 hours long, and only partly involves interviews with him, although the entire concept, including the mechanical infrastructure, appears to be mostly his own brainchild.
Someone needs to interview him while he's still here so we can get clues as to how he pulled this off. Obviously, a sense of purpose would be at the top of the list.
