Many compounds are said to help the eyes and/or vision.  I want to talk about which ones of these have a benefit.  Some of the common ones are bilberry, lutein, astaxanthin, zeaxanthin, and eyebright.  I recently found a supplement which has the |xanthins and lutein and is a better price than other astaxanthin supplements.  You can find it here, but now that I look over it again I feel the price is only because it's currently discounted.  Lycopene is another compound that is supposed to be useful for the eyes.  They make another one that has pretty much all of these ingredients in it and is fairly expensive.  It's here so you can see it.  Essentially it doesn't have lycopene, though.  Are any of these ingredients useful?  Do they improve your ability to see or do they just decrease the liklihood of getting certain conditions?

They also have eye exercises which are another topic.

Eat eggs and veggies which are rich in lutein/zeaxanthin and save your money, this would be plenty for the possible eyes benefit.

Improving vision is a too vague of a term and anyway I doubt it can be achieved supplementing the above if a decent nutrition is in place.

The human retina accumulates lutein and zeaxanthin. The latter predominates at the macula lutea while lutein predominates elsewhere in the retina. There, it may serve as a photoprotectant for the retina from the damaging effects of free radicals produced by blue light

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lutein

Zeaxanthin supplements are typically taken on the supposition of supporting eye health. Although there are no reported side effects from taking zeaxanthin supplements, this possible benefit remains scientifically unproven, despite extensive ongoing research to define dietary or supplemental effects of zeaxanthin and lutein.[3][4][5]

I am also looking at a good supplement. Despite a years and years long high dietary intake of carotanoids and antho's and two and a half months of taking NR, my eyesight is clearly getting less. So I wonder what you think of Dr. Ray Sahelian:

http://www.raysahelian.com/vision.html

His description of the backgrounds of vision is elaborate and seems correct to me. The supplement he sells has an interestingly wide range of ingredients (Once again, ALA is involved). He claims that most people see some improvement within days. That's a stark claim but he follows it up with an offer of a free trial.

I am considering this free trial but for me shipping costs to Europe are prohibitive while  shipping to you in Chicaago may be cheap.

Dopamine helped my eyes. Made my pupils move and feel smoother in higher quality.

ALL the nutrients help with eye vision as do they help with everything so keep everything in order. With aging your eyes loses its tightness and the skin and the eye falls out of its original place littly.

As an internet entrepreneur, my screen-time averages over 10 hours daily. I get my vision checked every 6 months and my eyesight, while not great, is not degrading. I credit biohacks like Visomitin and Visoluten for this. How much screen time do you get? How are you protecting and preserving your eyesight?

In this review, I compare and contrast my experiences with...
Visomitin eye drops - an SKQ1 based Mitochondrial Antioxidant that works on a cellular level by reducing damage caused by excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are types of free radicals that play an important role in cell signaling.
And
Visoluten - an innovative biopeptide for hacking vision and ocular degeneration.

Ive had success with a Jarrow product that contains bilberry and grapeskin polyphenols. Additionally ive gotten improvement with Pycnogenol®, the patented version of french maritime pine bark extract but it is expensive.

Macuguard from life extension works well for me.  I also take bilberry and an omega3 mixed with lutein 12 hours apart.  Haven’t noticed any decreases and my eyes are bad.

Has anyone tried N-acetylcarnosine eye drops?

I used them for about half a year. They did nothing for me.

I bought  some Eiffel NAC Drops, I'm on the first bottle now. I might report back after the two bottles. Not doing any serious before/after testing but if there is significant improvement I will notice I guess. I'm in my fifties and starting to have less sharp vision overall, not just early stage presbyopia.

Youtuber Modern Healthspan is doing a test with the same product on him and his wife. They are doing before and after testing.  https://youtu.be/CXNse93VKXc

In his video description he also has some links to relevant studies.

Lutenol is the best eye supplement that suits me. I have been using it for 2 years now. When i was ordering it last week , the website was not working so i used Trust.Zone coupon code to buy a vpn that can help me access their site to place order for my eye supplements.

Goosh, always theose spamers..

Propietary blends are always used mix up cheap ingredients with more expensive, while hiding that the expensive are in minute amounts impossible for any therapeutic action. Just a rip off.

For example: I used many ingredients in amounts above the combined amount of the 505mg propietary blend each already alone. Already more than a decade. Like Taurine, NAC, Quercetin and Rutin. One can be sure this cheap multi doesn't contain Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Lycopene at effective doses as the competition, with the transparancy to declare actual amount of those ingredients. The whole combinations uses the cheapest forms of all ingredients.
