Hello everyone,

I'm hoping you could provide some insight into the many symptoms I'm experiencing which really effect my overall ability to function. I'm not exactly sure what could be causing all of these, but I know for certain that it isn't normal, and I'm looking for ways to change them. (please bare in mind though, that i don't have money to buy tons of supplements, nootropics etc. at the moment)

Since there are so many, I've compiled a list:

  • Brain Fog - Very often I'll be in a state of mind where I find it difficult to think, reason, converse, make decisions, recall memories, focus etc. in fact i'd say that this has become so frequent that it's almost just like normal day-to-day life for me
  • No Sex Drive - I literally do not have any sex drive whatsoever. This doesn't bother me, as i find it to be a waste of time and energy anyway, but it could be a potentially hazardous symptom pointing to something bigger
  • Symptoms of DPD/Derealisation - Quite often my mind will completely space out and i'll feel like a zombie. Almost like my mind is non-existent. It's very hard to describe, but thats's the easiest way to put it.
  • No Hunger - I experience pretty much no hunger on a day-to-day basis. None. This could perhaps be because i follow an intermittent fasting protocol(typically I'll eat between 6 and 9 pm, usually in one large meal over an hour or so), but even then when it gets to meal time and i haven't eaten a thing in almost 24 hours, i only eat because i know i have to.
  • Poor overall brain functioning - My overall brain functioning right now (creativity, problem solving, cognitive functions etc.) is very poor normally. I know this isn't due to poor intelligence though, as when I've felt 'normal' im in the past, my intelligence has been almost startling to say the least, which is a big motivating factor to clear all this up
  • Low Moods/Low Motivation etc. - This is a very annoying one for me because i aim to become extremely successful in life, and these symptoms often negate my capacity to do so. It's almost like on a logical manner, im extremely motivated etc. but my actual emotions just don't comply. My moods on a day-to-day basic are pretty apathetic. Very often it'll feel like i experience no emotions at all. I also very often have this feeling of stress and anxiety in my stomach.
  • Tiredness - Despite a regular sleeping pattern(i wake up between 7 and 7:30am everyday using sleep cycle on my phone) and also good amounts of deep sleep according to the tracker on my phone, I often wake up feeling very lethargic and this continues until around 2/3pm. My peak energies normally hit at nighttime.
  • Bloated feeling - Despite fasting for 20-22 hours per day, i'll often feel bloated and heavy throughout the day, especially after exercise for some odd reason.
  • Feeling like my personality is shut off - This is a particularly horrible one. There are days where i feel very robotic and almost non-human. That's the only way i could describe it, really. It's almost like my personality, which i know i have, shuts off and i feel like a zombie. I'll be very monotone and blank to speak to, and i'll just feel like a zombie. There are periods however where i feel completely normal and it's almost like this huge veil gets lifted and i feel happy and human again.
  • There are more, but these are the main ones.

As you can probably tell, these severely hinder my capacity to function and enjoy life to the fullest.

When all the symptoms are cleared though, i feel like almost a completely different person, and it's incredible. I've experienced days at a time where i would be extremely mentally well, absolutely none of the symptoms would appear which i've described, i'd be motivated, happy, energetic etc. and my ability to live and function is just PHENOMENALLY improved, almost feeling like superman in comparison.

It's incredibly confusing though because they days often come very randomly, and i can't really pinpoint anything that could potentially be the cause of such days. I've made a habit of tracking my food, sleep, moods etc. and often these day will be no different from other in those regards.

Here's a quick insight into my diet, regime, lifestyle etc.

Food: My diet consists mainly of; lean meat(chicken & turkey), eggs, complex carbs such as sweet potatoes, yams, wholegrain/brown rice, wholegrain pasta, frozen berries(which i blitz into a smoothie for quickness), lots of broccoli and asparagus, healthy fats such as avocado and olive oil, although i've recently been reducing the amount of fat intake and increasing complex carbs as i workout pretty intensively almost everyday and needed the extra energy. i used to eat large amounts of dark chocolate, nuts etc. and i'd also like to make it a point that i typically eat only one large meal a day at night, consisting of all my nutrients and energy intake.

Supplements: I've only been using these for a few weeks, but i typically take: 1000mcg of vitamin b12, 3 1000mg fish oil capsules per day, and 10,000iu vitamin d

Exercise: I train very athletically, almost everyday with perhaps one day of rest per week where i'll do some light training instead.

Sleep: I'm very in tune with my sleep cycles, so i make sure to either sleep 9, 7.5 or 6 hours per night, and wake up at the same time everyday.

I also practice concentration meditation, and am looking to make huge progress in that, which is another big motivator so sort out everything prevented me from progressing to thee extent i wish to.

Another few things:

  • I run a couple of online businesses and also do a lot of other work online, so i spend a large amount of my day in front of screens.
  • I'm not sure if this is relevant or not, but i went through a stage of my life, for a good 2 years or 3 years, where i was extremely depressed and reclusive. I would literally shut myself away in my room for MONTHS, eat very little(normally i would frequent between eating extremely little calories everyday from things like brown rice and brown pasta, and eating huge amounts of junk food because i simply stopped caring), get no sunlight, no social actives, no brain stimulation, just literally browsing the internet and watching tv all day. Obviously i do not live like this anymore, but part of me feels like that period of time really did have huge implications on my mental and brain health, especially as it was at such a young age.
  • There are days where all these symptoms lift completely, and it's almost astronomical how differently i function and feel. Those days are my main motivation for clearing all this up, since obviously i want to feel like that every single day.
  • My eyes will quite often(at least once a day), feel very strained and sore, for no particular reason.

I'm truly aiming to clear all this up and improve my mental and brain functioning as much as possible, so any feedback and suggestions are extremely welcome. I have no idea what is causing all these symptoms, but you'll all have a much better idea than i will.

Sounds like a long term Magnesium deficiency you've got. Most probably brought on by all the crap you've been feeding your parrasites. Try some Teatree oil topically, get some sun, learn about Omega 3 oil balance and eat more greens. It takes time to get back to 100% but you'll get very noticable results quickly. Hope this helps.
