Tell me how your HPA Axis is doing.  Have you found a way to balance the U-shaped curve of cortisol feedback?  Or are you mentally fatigued, zombified until a stressor comes along?

Here are some studies regarding ADHD:

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/20971091

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/17763937

http://www.ncbi.nlm..../pubmed/9136494 (cortisol not a function of aggression in boys with ADHD)

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/14586159

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/26820676

And my favorite, here: http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/23055001

Makes you wonder if the primary mechanism of action to ADHD meds is to stress you up a little?

Atomoxetine... if anything stresses you up, it's that drug.

So, if this is true than treatment with Glucocorticoid receptor agonists or NR3C1 transcription factor activators would work to reverse attention deficits... or perhaps even antagonists would cause attention deficits.

Anyone want a go?
